A couple more Kickstarter commissions, of the larger, more detailed variety. One commission was for “anthropomorphic marine animals in a cityscape, possibly Chicago”, the other for “Cats. Eating pie? With a mandolin and a violin?”. See above for the results. The originals are 9 x 12, a size which for some reason compels me to go overboard with the cross-hatching. Not that I can resist the call to that particular strain of graphomania anyway.
Speaking of Kickstarter, those wonderful folks (seriously- how much fun does it look like it would be to work there?) were kind enough to feature some of my little commissioned drawings on their always-interesting blog. Thanks to them for like the zillionth time (and especially to Cindy Au, who is awesome - follow her on Tumblr or Twitter, you’ll be glad you did). I always feel extra-classy by association with Kickstarter (however tangential said association may be). Go over there and back some worthy projects, why don’t you?
