So I do this podcast with the rock band I play in, and this week’s episode is a nostalgic one for yours truly. Talked for a while about the first song we ever played together, almost a decade ago. Also talked about a fair amount of other foolishness. It’s fun, go on, give it a listen, or grab it from iTunes.
This one is mildly comics-related as well, which I why I bring it up in these parts. When we released this song with our old band back in 2002, I drew an odd short comic to serve as the liner notes for the CD (remember CDs?). Figured this gave me a nice excuse to post that comic here and embarrass myself with my sloppy drawings from almost a decade ago. So go ahead and read it right here, if you like, or just click on the image up top.
And hey, if you’re in Brooklyn, why not stop by The Rock Shop tomorrow night (Friday, Sept. 30) and see us play some songs? Come on, it’ll be… fun? Okay, I’m sure you all would rather see genius Louis CK at the Bell House (um, I would!), but we all know that’s gonna sell out before you can get a ticket anyway. So just walk a few blocks over to the Rock Shop and hear some music instead, yes? Yes.
